Baked Asparagus



This perfect side goes with absolutely anything.


1 bundle fresh asparagus 
1/2 small lemon
 1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp red pepper
1/2 tsp olive oil 


-Preheat oven to 400 F and put tinfoil on a cookie sheet
-Bend one asparagus spear until the bottom end snaps off
-Use this as a guideline of where to cut the woody ends off the rest of your asparagus 
-Toss asparagus spears with salt, red pepper, and olive oil
-Bake asparagus for about 10-15 minutes until it is tender
-Top with lemon juice and serve as your side vegetable for just about any meal
